John, today marks the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark Roe v. Wade ruling, which enshrined reproductive freedom as a fundamental right.

But instead of being a cause for celebration, today is a solemn reminder that progress is never guaranteed. I’m committed to restoring the right to choose for women nationwide – but I need your help, John. Will you chip in to support my campaign?

Despite the decades of precedent behind the Roe ruling, the conservative Supreme Court, shaped by Donald Trump’s presidency, voted to overturn it – sending shockwaves throughout our country. Since then, 12 states have passed complete bans on abortion.

In 2023, the North Carolina General Assembly passed a 12 week abortion ban. Even with this legislation, North Carolina remains one of the least restrictive states in the South for reproductive rights.
