Today marks the 52nd anniversary of the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling on Roe v. Wade, a ruling that was overturned almost three years ago. And every day since then, Donald Trump and House Republicans have been fighting tooth and nail to destroy the reproductive freedom of women across the country.
The fight to protect a woman’s right to choose has never been more critical. Now that Republicans have taken control of Congress and Donald Trump is back in the White House, the prospect of a total abortion ban is closer to reality than ever.
Donald Trump has taken every opportunity to disparage the truth, undermine our democratic systems, and disregard the rule of law to prop up his own interests. We witnessed it firsthand for four years, and we’re bound to see more of it in the days to come.
