John, exactly 51 years ago women and allies rejoiced as Roe v. Wade became the law of the land.

At the same time, 51 years ago the GOP hatched a plan. One to funnel resources to local, state, and federal judges who opposed abortion. One to divide the country by exacerbating religious differences to keep women from having power over their own bodies. One that raised billions of campaign dollars to threaten women’s rights.
And it worked.
We knew Trump & the GOP would continue coming after our rights, but on day one of being President, one of his top priorities was taking down the federal website on reproductive health. A website that helps women and Americans track state-by-state restrictions, laws, and regulations on abortion with tips for getting help. The impact of taking down this federal resource will no doubt have repercussions, but it also shows their priorities and a signal of all that is still yet to come.

I’m not naive about the uphill battle we face over the next two years with a Republican trifecta in Washington and a conservative SCOTUS to match. But that doesn’t mean we give up. Our predecessors never did, they fought tirelessly through countless losses until they turned it into a victory.

That’s what we intend to do here at A Woman’s Place. We have the next two years to change the game before the midterm election, and we need everyone on board. Instantly add your name to let us know you’re with us in the long game to win back the majority from the GOP and restore our rights. [[link removed]]I'M ALL IN [[link removed]]

The GOP is riding high following Trump’s inauguration and a trifecta win in the 2024 election — they think they’re untouchable right now. But they’re wrong about that, and it’s on us to show them by building up a movement they can’t stop.

The GOP is threatened by women and anyone who stands up for our rights — instantly sign on to show them they should be. [[link removed]]

The sacrifices made 51 years ago will not go to waste — if we continue fighting.

Let’s do this,

Mary Gay
The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
