This year, I’m excited to be serving as Co-Chair of the Blue Dogs and look forward to working with my colleagues to revitalize our coalition and grow our ranks in Congress.
With such a slim majority in the House of Representatives, we will have an outsize role in the national debate in 2025.
The Blue Dogs represent rural, working class, and independent-minded voices like myself in the Democratic Party. We stand for fiscal stability and national security, we embrace bipartisanship and place-based politics, and we work to find common sense solutions to the challenges facing our country. That’s how it should be.
Over the next two years, the Blue Dogs will continue making an impact in Congress and in the national debate. I’m grateful for the trust placed in me by my colleagues to help lead our coalition and work towards meaningful solutions to our toughest challenges.
