I will continue to defend reproductive freedom and veto any anti-abortion legislation that makes it to my desk.

John,

Today marks the anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling, which guaranteed women across the country the freedom of choice for nearly 50 years.

I don’t need to remind you about what the Trump-appointed justices did in 2022. But I do want to reiterate something I’ve said before: Politicians should never interfere with or surveil a woman’s personal health care decisions.

When GOP extremists celebrated Roe being overturned, we took note. Since then, abortion rights have been on the ballot numerous times across the country, and the pro-choice position has won over and over again — including here in Arizona.

Together, we repealed our state’s total abortion ban from 1864, and passed Prop 139 this past November, enshrining the right to an abortion in our state constitution.

However, there’s still work to be done, and now that Donald Trump — a man who proudly takes credit for ending Roe — is in office, we must keep fighting, John.

I will continue to defend reproductive freedom and veto any anti-abortion legislation that makes it to my desk to ensure that Arizona women have control over their bodies, their futures, and their privacy, and I need to know you’re with me in this fight.

John, can you chip in $10 to help power my efforts to continue defending our fundamental rights?
