I'm honored and thrilled to share some much-needed good news with you today that Evergreen has welcomed Katherine García, a nationally recognized leader in advancing clean transportation solutions, to our Governing Board.

Katherine García is the director of Sierra Club’s Clean Transportation for All campaign, where she has built an inspiring track record of success, protecting public health and improving air quality by reducing emissions from the transportation sector. This includes many successful efforts at the state and local levels.

As one of the country’s preeminent experts on fighting pollution in our transportation systems, she brings unparalleled expertise and a demonstrated ability to deliver real progress for communities nationwide. Katherine also currently serves on the National Center for Sustainable Transportation Leadership Council and the League of American Bicyclists Board of Directors.
