Hi team,

I don’t want you to miss the next webinar in our carbon dioxide removal series—because this one could transform the way you think about what is possible when you get involved in a project in your community.

Let’s start with the facts: We’re not on track to meet the Paris Agreement targets. Not only do we need to prevent new pollution through clean energy, but we need to remove the pollution that we’ve already put into the atmosphere. That’s where carbon dioxide removal (CDR) comes in.

We’re partnering with The Climate Center and Project 2030 on a six-part webinar series to explore the science and strategies behind CDR , and this next one—our fourth—is all about enforceable benefits and protections for communities.

You're invited to join us on January 24 for a deep dive into Carbon Dioxide Removal and Communities—RSVP now to save your spot!

WHAT: Carbon Dioxide Removal and Communities: Benefits, Negotiations, Oversight, and Enforcement
WHEN: Friday, January 24 at 10am PT
WHERE: On Zoom!

RSVP: [link removed]

In this fourth webinar, we’ll explore benefits, negotiations, oversight, and enforcement for CDR—making sure that clean energy project developers provide protections and benefits to the communities around them. Because we can’t rely on the incoming federal administration to uphold requirements for community benefits, it’s vital that state and community leaders ensure communities are not only protected but directly benefit from CDR project impacts.

Sign up to learn approaches, examples, and guidance for negotiating community benefits on January 24 at 10am PT!

Hope to see you there,
