Friend—
It’s clear Mitch McConnell has no intention of moving quickly on the Coronavirus relief that’s desperately needed. Over 20 million Americans lost their jobs in April alone – how can he feel anything but urgency?
The contrast is clear. Take a look at what Doug Jones is doing to help us right now. The way Doug puts it, everyone’s primary focus – from Mitch McConnell to every business to every American – needs to be on saving lives and saving livelihoods.
While Doug’s working hard to get us more help – just this week, he introduced new legislation to help get the nearly 15% of Americans who are unemployed rehired – Mitch McConnell’s raising money and rallying extreme dark money groups to beat Doug.
Just this past week, Doug’s opponents and the shady PACs that support them put up hundreds of thousands of dollars in ads attacking him. We know Doug’s got our back. Now we need to have his. Can you pitch in and make sure we can respond? [[link removed]]
Remember, if Mitch McConnell had his way, we’d be on our own.
We can win this together, but it’s going to take all of us. Thank you for your support.
-Team Doug
