** Life or the Party? Which will win in DC?

Dear John,

I need your help to protect life.

I don’t know if you’re a Republican, a Democrat, an independent or something else. But right now, I hope you will put life above party.

Here’s the situation.

As you probably know, most Democrats have proudly proclaimed their allegiance to abortion. One example: In 2024, Democrat candidates for U.S. Senate (and their aligned super-PACs) spent nearly $200 million on ads declaring their commitment to abortion. That total doesn’t even count the ads from the Democrat candidates for President, U.S. House and all of the other state and local offices.

Republicans have generally been strong on life. But lately, those lines have blurred. While many—maybe even most—Republicans continue to be strongly pro-life, it got a lot more complicated in the last year.
* First, some GOP candidates announced support for IVF (in-vitro fertilization) with no limits—even though the most common and unethical versions of this practice likely result in far more embryos being destroyed by IVF than by abortions!
* Second, a few prominent Republicans went even further, pledging to push for “free” IVF—without any life-protecting restrictions—for all Americans at taxpayer expense!
* Third, and most troubling of all, some of those same national Republicans declared support for the availability of chemical abortions—which are responsible for killing nearly 700,000 babies per year, plus causing severe harm and even death to many women.

My point in raising this right now is not to point fingers or assign blame. Accountability is needed, but that will have to wait.

That’s because right now is about saving lives—and the threat is very real at this moment in Washington. Even if some Republicans are throwing in the towel on life, I’m asking you to stand strong for life and join with me in putting principle over politics. ([link removed])

The best chance to stop a legislative deal that could literally destroy hundreds of thousands of little lives is to make it clear to leaders in Congress and the White House that this is NOT a fight that they should want to have.

To do that, my team and I are aiming to mobilize 100,000 committed pro-life Americans who will let the politicians know that life is not a line to be crossed—no matter what side of the aisle they sit on!

Will you help us rally pro-life Americans all over the country with a special gift today? ([link removed])

This will be an all-out effort, and the cost will be significant. But I wouldn’t do it—or ask you to help—if I didn’t think it was worth it.

The lives at stake make it worth it, above all. But I also believe that now is the time to re-energize the pro-life cause in America. After taking a lot of hits since Roe was overturned, there are signs of re-awakening, including three wins against state abortion ballot measures last November.

If you’re with me—if you believe we must stand and fight for life, regardless of the politicians or the parties—please let me hear from you today ([link removed]) .

Standing for life,

P.S. The election brought some good news, but it also brought some grave new threats to life. Some Republicans are ready to cut deals with pro-abortion Democrats that could literally cost hundreds of thousands of lives. R or D—I don’t care—this is a line that can’t be crossed!

Will you help me rally pro-life Americans to make their voices heard to politicians of both parties? Please stand for life and help make it happen with your gift today. ([link removed]) Thank you in advance for making it possible!
