Friends — 52 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled in Roe v. Wade that abortion is a constitutionally protected right.

Three years after the Supreme Court’s ultraconservative majority overturned Roe v. Wade , it’s clearer than ever that ending Roe was only the start of Republicans’ attacks on reproductive rights.

From 41 states banning or severely restricting abortion with limited exceptions to the conservative push to take the abortion pill mifepristone off the market — reproductive rights have not been more at risk since before Roe.

Here in New Mexico, we fought and organized to elect pro-choice legislators who took an archaic abortion ban off the books. Martin is proud to have been part of that effort to ensure that women in New Mexico have their rights protected.

But the Republican majority won't stop until they pass a federal abortion ban. Martin is fighting to expand reproductive rights and codify the right to abortion into federal law. And on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade , we’re asking you to join him:
