There's no question that national Republicans have embraced this brand of division and hatred for political gain.

Let’s get one thing clear: Californians pay $83 billion more in federal taxes than we get back. Those dollars have gone to communities across our borders that are in need after experiencing disaster.

In our time of need, we’re simply asking for the help we deserve.

Wildfire victims deserve an America that is United when it counts, like now. I’ll do everything in my power to help bring resources into Los Angeles so that they and our communities can recover.
