Fellow Republicans,

I just got back to the office from the RNC winter meeting and wanted to write this letter to you right away.

Since Washington State is still considered deep blue on the Presidential map, I thought that the RNC wouldn't have paid attention to the inroads we made with voters in 2024 - like how our statewide candidates put up their best performances in years for their respective races; and how our party flipped the Chinese International District in the heart of Seattle to be the best performing Trump district in King County.

They told me something that I was surprised by... that they have been closely following our voter data in the most recent election cycles and they agree that even though Washington State didn't go fully red on the Presidential map, they know we can flip key Congressional Districts in 2026 to help expand our House majority in D.C. We can help stop the Democrats from derailing the President's agenda that is helping so many millions of Americans.

They laid out the path to victory, a similar path that the California Republican Party used to accomplish success in recent elections. They confirmed for me that even though we did not go red for the President, we can make sure Republicans maintain control in D.C.

The challenge ahead of us now is the same that every other blue state had before they succeeded - we need to start earlier than the Democrats and we need to stay aggressive for the next 2 years.
