Across the globe, half of all mental health conditions start in childhood, but most cases go undetected and untreated. Some of the risks of poor mental health include violence, bullying and discrimination. To help mitigate these risks, you can acknowledge children’s feelings, help provide solutions to their problems and ensure you are looking after yourself to effectively respond to their needs.
