Request for Proposals Now Open*

EGLE's Climate and Energy Advisor, Cory Connolly, and Environmental Justice Public Advocate, Regina Strong presenting at the 2023 MI Climate Summit

The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is offering grant funding in its continued support for event sponsorships and other training activities that provide Michigan businesses, communities, and citizens with information to make informed decarbonization decisions. Any Michigan-based organization is eligible to apply. The primary focus of the event must be related to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or sustainability. Sponsored events must share event materials (e.g., marketing information, summaries, presentations, links, etc.) with EGLE to publish publicly.

The maximum grant award for events is $10,000 and the maximum award for research is $250,000. Applications will be accepted and processed on a first come first serve basis according to program priorities.
