Dear Friend,

Yesterday we saw the clearest signs yet of this country's slide into fascism. We saw billionaires using gestures from 1930s Germany while shouting about a "golden age" and colonizing Mars. We saw Donald Trump, with the three richest men in the world standing behind him, vowing to unilaterally take actions to harm the LGBTQIA+ community, the environment, immigrants, and the rule of law. Within hours of taking his oath of office, he had pardoned hundreds of far-right rioters and convicted criminals and withdrew the US from the Paris climate agreement. All this while current and former elected Democrats, the so called "opposition party," stood silently by. But the day was not without hope.



In 84 cities around the country thousands of people and dozens of organizations braved freezing temperatures and potential police violence to speak loudly and with one voice against the erosion of our rights. Together they called for liberation and demanded attention to the very real jeopardy we face with Trump and the duopoly in power.

"The 2024 election showed decisively that the Democratic Party has utterly failed the people it claims to represent. And many who voted Republican out of anger at Democrats already have buyer's remorse, as the dysfunctional rule of billionaires comes into view.

Meanwhile, the duopoly is doubling down for genocide and endless war abroad, the war on working people at home, and ecological collapse across the planet. The need for a genuine opposition party and deep political change has never been so urgent, and the possibility of that change has never loomed so large. Join us to build momentum for the Green uprising."

In New York, we heard speakers with messages of hope, revolution, and resistance. We saw the power of youth lead movements on display and greater unity between activists and third parties. We saw that in no uncertain terms, that the opposition to climate collapse, endless war, and the erosion of our rights will be loud, unified, and it will not be ignored.



The next four years decide not only the fate of our nation, but our planet. It is critical that our party and the resistance continues to grow. Together we can rise, while empire falls. This cannot happen without your support.
