Dear Neighbors, Families, Community and Clergy Leaders,
I hope this message finds you well. As we continue to work together to address pressing issues in our community, I am reaching out to invite you to an important virtual informational event hosted by my office. This event will focus on the critical topic of human trafficking, a hidden crisis that affects individuals and families across the nation, including here in Central Brooklyn.

Human Trafficking Awareness Webinar

The Blue Campaign, a national public awareness initiative led by the Department of Homeland Security, is dedicated to educating the public, law enforcement, and industry partners about recognizing the indicators of human trafficking and responding appropriately to potential cases. By providing general awareness training and materials, the Blue Campaign aims to increase the detection of human trafficking and support the identification and recovery of victims.
Human trafficking victims often remain invisible because the signs go unnoticed. This event will provide invaluable information on how to recognize the indicators of human trafficking and report tips that could save lives. By raising awareness and empowering our community, we can play a vital role in combating this grave issue.
We encourage everyone to attend this event and learn how to make a difference. Whether you are a community leader, law enforcement professional, educator, or concerned neighbor, your participation is vital in creating a safer and more informed Central Brooklyn.
To RSVP and receive the event link, please register here. For any questions or additional information, feel free to contact Debbie Medina, Orlando Ross, or Nerissa Ng at 718.287.1142
Together, we can shine a light on human trafficking and take steps to protect the most vulnerable among us.
Thank you for your commitment to our community. I look forward to seeing you at the event.
Warm regards
