By pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Agreement, he’s turning his back on the low-income communities and communities of color that the climate crisis hurts the worst. He’s paused Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) funding, stalling critical investments in clean energy, jobs, and climate-resilient infrastructure. And his push to expand offshore drilling will make communities even more vulnerable to pollution and disaster risks.

California’s leadership and commitment to a bold, progressive agenda will be critical to pushing back and setting an example for the rest of the country. We can’t afford to sit back while harmful policies threaten the future of trans rights, immigrant communities, and climate action.
