AP REPORTS: Beneath a veneer of calm, Trump’s inauguration holds warning signs for US democracy

Yesterday Donald Trump was officially sworn in as our 47th President of the United States.

And despite the fact that in his inauguration speech he promised unity and progress, his actions tell a very different story – one filled with hate and division.

Throughout his campaign and even after the election, Trump has made it crystal clear that he plans to:

1. Eliminate the Department of Education.
2. Roll back environmental protections.
3. Dismantle the Affordable Care Act.
4. Conduct mass deportations.
5. Pardon January 6th rioters.
6. And so much more.

We can’t let him get away with it.
