John —

Hundreds of police officers were injured on January 6th — beaten by a mob attempting to stop the peaceful transfer of power. They suffered traumatic brain injuries, broken ribs, and more. People died that day, and more in the weeks and months that followed.

Yesterday, Trump pardoned all of the criminals charged and convicted with crimes related to their actions on January 6th. 1500 convicted criminals will go free. No consequences for beating up cops, the damage to the Capitol, not to mention the harm done to our institutions and our democracy.

Look, my mom was the first female police officer in our town. She was attacked by a criminal and her injuries ended her career. This is personal for me. Trump’s done a lot of awful things in just the first 24 hours of his presidency, but this is just outrageous.

It’s going to take a huge team to stand against Trump and his administration, so I’m asking you to add your name here and say you're with our team. We need you, now more than ever.
