Donald Trump’s first day back in office was pretty scary.

One of the first actions Trump took was to pardon over 1,500 people involved in the January 6th insurrection. I was at the Capitol that day, these were not peaceful protesters, over 100 police officers were injured.

With a swipe of his pen, Trump sent the message that if you’re a far-right extremist who wants to overthrow our democracy, you’re safe with him in charge. Our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves.
