He's already begun dismantling the programs the Biden administration had in place, such as removing the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention website. This is only within the first 24 hours of his presidency.
Folks, we cannot stop fighting, and we cannot lose sight of our goals.
We can ensure dangerous laws that would bring more gun crime and gun violence into states with strong gun laws do not make it to Trump's desk. We can push back on Trump's dangerous cabinet picks who would prioritize the gun lobby's guns everywhere agenda. We can ensure we are pushing for gun safety legislation at the state level.
We're ready to take action—and as soon as possible—to stop the gun lobby and the Trump administration in their tracks. We were successful from 2016–2020 and can be successful again if we ensure our movement remains strong.
