I woke up this morning with a pit in my stomach. Still not a dream...Trump really is president again. And I'm mad as hell about it.
But friend, you and I both know just being mad and wishing Trump would go away doesn't accomplish diddly squat. Instead, we've gotta get to work. Here's what I propose:
Today's the first full day of Trump's term, which means we're facing the DSCC's first fundraising deadline of his presidency. We'll NEED a head start to take away Trump's Senate, so what are you waiting for? Chip in $5 right freakin' now!
It was clear from pretty much the moment Trump won back the White House: The dude's still off his rocker.
That's why we've gotta do EVERYTHING we can to stop his worst impulses. Senate Republicans ain't gonna do that -- hell, John Thune said his whole job was to give Trump what he wants!! -- so it's up to Democrats like you and me.
It sucks that Trump is back, but the only way out is through. Together, we can CRUSH his dream of having a red Senate for his whole term. But we've gotta raise some serious dough -- and fast!
To mark Trump's first full day, the DSCC needs to raise $50,000 by midnight. I know in my bones that if we smash that goal, it'll give us a helluva start in flipping the Senate. So let's get to work. I'm personally asking you:
Chip in $5 to ruin Trump's day by taking away his Senate majority! This is one of the best ways we can fight back in these early days -- and keep Trump's paws off of all our progress.
