CLASP, the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR), A Better Balance, and Oxfam America are co-hosting a webinar tomorrow about caregiving during the coronavirus pandemic. The caregiving needs of many families were unmet before the pandemic due to decades of divestment and discrimination. Now, people across the country are struggling to care for their children and other loved ones without access to paid care services and extended family and support networks.
Join us for a conversation with caregivers, experts, and activists who are working to build a more fair economy that supports all people in meeting their care responsibilities. The panel will be moderated by Kimberly Pfeifer, the Research Director of Oxfam America. The other speakers are:
- Katherine Gallagher Robbins, Director of Child Care and Early Education, CLASP
- C. Nicole Mason, President and CEO, Institute for Women's Policy Research
- Joi Owens, Senior Gulf Coast Policy Officer, Oxfam America
- Sherry Leiwant, Co-Founder and Co-President, A Better Balance
We hope you'll join us for this important conversation!
