Friend, after Donald Trump's inauguration yesterday, I've been reflecting on the coming months and years of his administration, and I wanted to send a personal note to you.

There is zero question that we have some incredibly tough fights ahead of us – fights for our freedoms and potentially fights for our very democracy. But I promise you that I will fearlessly take these fights head-on.

No matter what happens in the next four years, I will never stop working as hard as I possibly can to create a better future for you and your family. That means bolstering our national security and boosting our economy. It means standing up for our veterans. It means giving small businesses the support they need to thrive. And it means defending our most fundamental rights – including our reproductive freedom.

I can't sit here and tell you that getting these things done with Donald Trump in the White House will be easy. It won't be. But I'm as determined as I've ever been to hold him and his allies accountable, to stop extremism from defining our future and to make a real difference in the lives of our families.

In fact, I'm already getting started. During the Senate confirmation hearings for Trump's cabinet nominees, I haven't been afraid to fiercely question them about their qualifications, hold them accountable for their past behavior and emphasize the need to actually work together across party lines for the good of our country and the American people. You can count on me to continue being a check on this administration at every turn.

While the next four years are filled with uncertainty and anxiety, this much is clear: I will never back down in the fight to safeguard our future from Donald Trump's agenda – and that includes winning back the Senate for Democrats in 2026. But when it comes to winning the tough races we'll need to win to flip the majority blue, early investments from folks like you – right now, today – are pivotal.

So if you're able, I hope you'll pitch in any amount you can give today to fuel our shared fight to continue making progress for the American people, to hold the Trump administration accountable and to flip the Senate blue.
