And now, it’s official: Donald Trump has pardoned, commuted the prison sentences, or promised to dismiss the cases of ALL 1,500 people who were charged with, convicted of, or pleaded guilty to their crimes that day. That means the planners of the movement and leaders of dangerous far-right extremist groups, found guilty on charges including seditious conspiracy are now free – undoing a 4-year process by the Justice Department to hold these insurrectionists accountable for their crimes against our democracy.
