Team,

As you know, I am the Democrat running in the FL-06 Special Election which is set to take place on April 1st.

Whereas in most normal special elections for vacant Congressional seats, the Governor in the state will give campaigns an average of six months to build their campaigns and introduce themselves to voters.

Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis has compressed this window into around 4 months to give us the shortest amount of time to build out our campaign while the MAGA movement dumps tens of millions into our district, saturating it with ads in hopes of shooting in their ultra MAGA pick: Randy Fine.

Yesterday the full frontal MAGA assault on my district entered its newest phase. A pro-Trump super PAC began flooding our district with this ad in support of our opponent:

The ad that Defend American Jobs - a MAGA aligned super PAC began running in my district yesterday.

These ads are beyond critical to my opponent's path to victory because no one in this district knows him . He is a carpetbagging Casino mogul from South Florida.

If he was a true shoo-in, MAGA would keep its powder dry and wouldn’t feel the need to pump millions into this district. The fact that they are having to saturate the district in ads to save their candidate, is extremely promising for us but only if we can keep up with their spends in the few weeks left until E-Day.

So far we are rolling with the punches and are closing in on having raised $500,000 since we began fundraising in late December but we need to scale up faster.

If just 1 out of every 20 people we send this email to donate $5 we could raise 100k off of a single email and run more of our own ads to keep up. Can you help us keep up with the dark money pro-MAGA PACs flooding into this race by making a donation of $5 or more split with iVote and me? [[link removed]]

That MAGA needs to flood the airwaves so early on in this race is a good sign for us - with your support we’ll soon be flooding the airwaves with ads of our own.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Democrat for Florida’s 6th

iVote was created in 2014 with one goal: secure voting rights for all Americans.

Rather than take on challenges in the court after unfair laws have passed, iVote plays defense on voter suppression efforts AND goes on offense to secure and expand access to voting.

Going on offense is critical. We have the chance to elect Secretaries of State that will protect our elections for years to come. But Republicans are already suppressing and blocking certain citizens from exercising their fundamental right to vote.

We need a massive coalition to register new voters and protect our right to vote in this election and beyond.

We know you get a lot of emails, but it's only because this fight is so important. We need you to stick with us long term. But if you must go, you can unsubscribe.
