Let’s be clear: while Biden-Harris are on their way out the door, the devastating impact of their immigration policies remains, and America First Legal will not rest until the dangerous effects of the Biden-Harris immigration policies are remedied.
As you know, beginning on January 20, 2021, a vicious Venezuelan gang called Tren de Aragua established a beachhead in at least fourteen of our States due the Biden-Harris administration’s malice and incompetence. Now every state is a “border state.”
The America First Legal team is fighting back. We have launched investigations of federal government agencies, including DHS, ICE, and the FBI, and state governments, to uncover what all these agencies knew about this dangerous gang that has tentacles in numerous states including Colorado, Illinois, and Wisconsin.
We’re also working tirelessly to expose the deadly situation created by the open borders lobby. On December 20, 2024, AFL put 249 elected officials in sanctuary strongholds across the country - including towns, cities, and states - on written notice that concealing, harboring, and protecting illegal aliens flagrantly violates federal immigration laws, potentially exposing them to criminal and civil liabilities if they continue their blatant violations of federal law.
We also launched an interactive website “Sanctuary Strongholds” to show Americans where these sanctuary jurisdictions are located across the country so people can speak up and urge government officials to stop violating federal laws.
And, AFL initiated aggressive investigations of governors, mayors, and other local government officials to forcibly expose the individuals and organizations that are actively undermining federal immigration enforcement, public safety, and American sovereignty.
It is truly sickening that American citizens are now forced to worry about home invasions and other unspeakable crimes by foreign gangs! That’s why we are exposing sanctuary cities and naming and shaming the politicians who run them. America First Legal will keep working to hold accountable those responsible for opening our borders to dangerous criminals.
