"We will end the Green New Deal..."
Yesterday, Donald Trump was inaugurated as 47th President of the United States.
In his inaugural address, Trump said, "With my actions today, we will end the Green New Deal" — and he wasted no time keeping that promise:
President Trump said we will "export American energy all over the world. We will be a rich nation, and it is that liquid gold under our feet that will help to do it."
Trump's inaugural promise comes on the heels of the hottest year in history.
From the air we breathe to the water we drink — when we fight for the Green New Deal, we are fighting for a liveable planet for future generations.
