and we are getting ready.

That’s why MomsRising is calling our first mass community meeting of 2025
immediately after Inauguration day.

In order to organize to build a better future, we’ll cover our information
environment, and how to combat disinformation and misinformation -- and
also how to build the bigger, broader movement we need.

Disinformation (and misinformation) played a huge role in our 2024
election results, and is a direct threat to our ongoing democratic system
of government. Let’s talk about it, and about how to break through the
noise to build a broader movement for democracy. 

Our partners at Media Matters will be joining us to help answer such
questions as:

* What is disinformation and misinformation?
* What are its impacts?
* Where is it happening?
* And how can we combat disinformation and build trust as we take action
and organize?
