It’s Donald Trump’s first day being president again, folks. Here’s the damage he’s done in a matter of hours:

1. He stripped employment protections from tens of thousands of federal workers, laying the foundation to reshape our federal agencies by stacking them with his politicized loyalists.
    
2. He pardoned nearly 1,600 people charged in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol – sending the dangerous message that violence against law enforcement has no consequences.
    
3. He withdrew from the Paris climate accords while climate-change induced fires continue to devastate Los Angeles.

That’s just the beginning, and we’re barely 24 hours into his presidency. He’s likely signing more disastrous executive orders as we speak.

I hope you’ll remember, no matter what this administration has in store, I will stand up and fight to protect the livelihoods of you and every American. Will you chip in to keep me in the Senate so I can continue this crucial work?
