Each month we hold Planning Commission meetings and present to the Board of Island County Commissioners on topics relevant to _Island County’s 2025 Comprehensive Plan Update [ [link removed] ]_. Below are our upcoming meetings and engagement opportunities.  

*Planning Commission*

Long Range Planning will be presenting to the Planning Commission on February 5; materials will be available in the _Agenda Center [ [link removed] ]_ on January 27.

Missed our last Planning Commission meeting? Long Range Planning presented the draft schedule [ [link removed] ] for our 2025 Comprehensive Plan update. Also, Transpo Group presented to the Planning Commission on updates to the Transportation Element; you can watch the recording in the _Agenda Center [ [link removed] ]_ and view the slides _here [ [link removed] ]_. Please submit comments on the draft Goals and Policies changes by Jan. 31 to _Malcolm Roberts and Emily Neff <[email protected],%[email protected]>_.

*Engagement Opportunities from Partners*

Whidbey Environmental Action Network (WEAN) has created an _Environment and Planning Survey [ [link removed] ]_ to collect opinions from the community for our county leaders. This survey will provide Island County with information about environmental issues in our community during the Comprehensive Plan update.
