We have some big news to share: we’re suing DOGE.

Right now, DOGE is operating unchecked. They have no specific authorization or funding from Congress, they’re led by an unelected billionaire and they’re reportedly already speaking with agency officials throughout the federal government.

To make matters worse, they’re reportedly using a messaging app known for its auto-delete features to communicate with these officials.

That’s simply unacceptable. Federal law requires that advisory committees have a balanced membership, have meetings that are open to the public, and disclose records to the public. DOGE is currently doing none of those things, in violation of the law.

That’s why we're suing DOGE, along with our friends at Democracy Forward and on behalf of ourselves and a group of nonprofits representing teachers and veterans and advocating for public health.
