Dear John,
Yesterday, Donald Trump was sworn in as our President. Again.
We know this is a challenging time. Many of you worked tirelessly to prevent this very outcome – so did we.
But, once again, we must band together to withstand attacks on American values and spirit.
We cannot give up or lose hope. Here’s what we are doing in California to fight back:
1️⃣ We are laying the initial infrastructure RIGHT NOW to launch our 2026 campaign to retake the U.S. House. Last cycle, we opened regional offices and hired organizers sooner than ever. We’re aiming to do the same — and even more — this time around. Will you pitch in a donation to make that possible?
2️⃣ Our state elected officials are working to ensure that President Trump cannot infringe on California’s values or people.
3️⃣ California’s expanded Democratic Congressional Delegation (we are sending three more Democrats to DC than in 2023!) will work in Congress to stand up to any dangerous laws or policies proposed by Donald Trump.
We are in this fight, John. We hope you are too.
