2) Our former Hypocrite in Chief

Yesterday, Biden (or whoever controls him these days) issued a shameful series of preemptive pardons for Anthony Fauci, Mark Milley, all members and staff of the January 6 commission, and five members of his own family. The pardons for his family cover every criminal act dating back to January 1, 2014:

This action was precisely what he promised not to do before taking office.

Biden is now far and away the biggest pardoner in US history, most of them without any redeeming quality

3) The Fauci Pardon Must Not Stop Investigations

A close second to the shameful pardons of Biden's own family members was his pardon of Anthony Fauci. This was backdated to the start of 2014 and therefore intended not just to cover Fauci's frequent perjuries, but his earlier potential crimes related to the funding of risky virus research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in, violation of the US ban on gain-of-function research.

And this declaration from Biden rationalizing the pardon so enraged us that we still have smoke coming out of our ears:

I believe in the rule of law, and I am optimistic that the strength of our legal institutions will ultimately prevail over politics...But these are exceptional circumstances, and I cannot in good conscience do nothing. Baseless and politically motivated investigations wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families.

OMG! Is there ANY president in American history who abused the prosecutorial power of the Justice Department - and engaged in malicious "politically motivated investigations" - more than Joe Biden?

If the evidence does in fact show that the SARS-CoV2 virus that caused the pandemic came from research at the Wuhan lab that was illegally funded with US tax dollars, Fauci may now be immune from prosecution but his many co-conspirators are not.

4) Unions Sue DOGE

Well, that was quick. Government unions have filed four lawsuits against DOGE. The Daily Wire reports:

The American Federation of Government Employees, along with two left-wing nonprofits, sued President Donald Trump and the Office of Management and Budget.

The lawsuit said AFGE's president, Everett Kelley, requested that a representative of the federal employees union be appointed to the cost-cutting panel because AFGE "has a deep knowledge of the federal government."...

Also on Monday, the American Federation of Teachers joined the American Public Health Association and four other liberal groups filed a similar lawsuit.

"DOGE does not currently have an individual who will speak on behalf of government workers and their interests," the suit said. Teachers are employed by local governments, not the federal government, but the AFT has used union dues to pursue a general leftist agenda.

Of course, the whole point of DOGE is to represent the taxpayers and stand up to the "government workers and their interests" that have resulted in totally out of control federal spending.

We hope the courts dismiss these lawsuits.

5) Redraw the Lines to End Blue State Tyranny

We are in favor of a process of redrawing state lines so those living on the border of other states can opt out of blue state tyranny. The number of states who have border counties who want to merge with the freer and less regulated red states continues to grow.

Illinois, which rivals California as a "failed state," saw several counties move last week to redraw the Indiana-Illinois border to absorb parts of Illinois.

Indiana House Speaker Todd Huston has introduced a bill to establish an Indiana-Illinois boundary adjustment commission. Five members would be appointed by the Indiana governor and five members would be selected by Illinois.

Nearly three dozen Illinois counties have voted in recent years to leave the state.

Breaking up Illinois is unlikely, but not impossible. As the Chicago Tribune reports:

There have been two instances in U.S. history where states have created boundaries, but it was to create new states and not shift the border between two existing states, Helmke said.

In 1820, Maine was established as a state by taking land away from Massachusetts, which the Massachusetts legislature and Congress approved, as a pro-Union faction of Virginia established West Virginia as a free state.

We are all for redrawing state lines so that citizens have self-determination and can escape from what they view as tyranny.
