Friend,

There's a lot at stake in this election, and it's more than just the presidency. If we're going to win the era and advance the progressive policies the people of this nation need so badly, we must first ensure we have a democracy that actually works. And that means we need to bring an end to the partisan gerrymandering that has given Republicans unearned majorities.

The NDRC has been working toward that goal since 2017, and they've made incredible gains. But this November is their biggest test yet -- and that's why I'm asking you to join me in supporting the NDRC's mission by making a donation before midnight tonight.

With nine out of 10 districts in Congress drawn in a way that makes them totally uncompetitive, we've got politicians choosing their voters instead of the other way around.

It's a major reason why so many people are losing faith in the electoral process -- but Election Day 2020 is our chance to turn it around. The state legislators we elect this November will draw the next decade of maps, so it's crucial we elect Democrats up and down the ballot who are committed to fair representation and an end to gerrymandering.

The good news is that the NDRC is targeting districts in states all over the country that could tip the balance in favor of fair maps. But they rely on grassroots support to keep up their important work, so we need to do everything we can to help them right now.

I know this is a tough time for everyone. But if you're able, please join me in supporting the NDRC's fight for fair maps by making a donation today.
