I know this is a scary time – but while I am worried, I’m also more motivated than ever before to elect Democratic governors – the last line of defense for our fundamental rights and freedoms. But to ensure we can win this November in key states like Virginia and New Jersey and in the thirty-six races in 2026, I need the input of grassroots supporters like you.

Despite Donald Trump becoming President only hours ago, he and his administration are already working to enact their far-right agenda – with the full support of the Republicans controlling Congress, who have pledged to do Trump's bidding with “lightning speed.”

That means that who your governor is right now matters more than ever. Governors will have the final say on everything from voting rights to abortion access and environmental protections.

It’s never been more important to defend and expand our blue firewall of Democratic Governors – and with 38 races on the ballot this November and in 2026, that work is already underway.

Early grassroots support lays the foundation for winning campaigns, so we rely on timely input from top supporters like you. Voices like yours are essential to our planning, especially now that Trump has entered office again.
