Let’s get right to it: As soon as next week, the Supreme Court could rule that millions of LGBTQ+ people can be fired from their jobs because of who they love or how they identify.

Over half of all LGBTQ+ Americans live in states where state law doesn’t protect them against workplace discrimination. When they go into work each day, their only safeguard is the federal Civil Rights Act. But now the Supreme Court could strip them of this essential protection.
