It’s official.

Donald Trump has taken the White House.

Am I pissed off? Hell yeah. But I’m also more motivated than ever.

The next four years are going to be a battle, but what hasn’t been a battle since this orange moron took over the Republican party? Even when he was out of office, we were fighting tooth and nail every single day to make sure America knows just what he is.

He’s a felon. An insurrectionist. A conman. A predator. An anti-American.

His mission for the next four years will be figuring out a way to blow up our democracy and creating a new style of government that works for him and only him. Our mission over the next four years is much simpler.

We’re going to watch him and his MAGA idiots like a hawk. When they screw over the very people who voted for them, we’ll be there. When they try to bend the rules for whatever corrupt scheme they cook up, we’ll be there. When they inevitably screw up (royally) and come up with a million ridiculous excuses, we’ll be there.

And when Donald Trump doesn’t uphold the oath of office he took today, for the second time now, we’ll be there.

I know you’re discouraged. But what I’m asking you to do is take these feelings of discouragement and put it towards a worthy cause. I believe in this pirate ship. I’ve seen what the pro-democracy movement can accomplish with just a little effort. I know that America is better than this moment, and I know that if we come together, we’ll come out of these next four years even stronger.
