Hey there, folks.
Today is our chance to honor the life and legacy of a man whose voice inspired millions to march toward a more equitable future.
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s mission was an American one at its core. He stood for equal opportunities for public education, equal justice in the court of law, and equal access to the ballot box. He fought for the freedom and equality promised by our Constitution applied to all Americans, not a select few.
His work has inspired generations of activists and leaders to keep up the good fight. But, as the election results proved, there’s still lots of work left to do.
Today, let’s follow Dr. King’s tremendous example and recommit ourselves to his mission. An example of action, leadership, vision, and hope in the face of hate and suffering.
