john —

Donald Trump was sworn into his second term in office today.

We’ve been through the challenges that come with a Trump Administration before — and although the challenges were many, there were also bright spots.

We saw palpable grassroots energy around Democratic candidates and progressive causes.

People who used to sit on the sidelines of our political world got involved — running for office, volunteering on campaigns, making their voices heard.

The road ahead will not be easy, and like so many of you, the uncertainty of Trump’s second term is frightening. A lot of people stand to lose rights and freedoms they hold dear.

In moments like this, all we can do is move forward. We’ve faced challenges before and persevered. So onward we go, to defend the values we stand for.

My pledge to you, john, is to keep up the fight for our rights. To work with anyone willing to make a difference for hardworking people. To pass legislation to lower costs, expand affordable housing access, protect Social Security, and more.

And as the Late Sen. Paul Wellstone said, “We all do better when we all do better.” So let us use this moment as an opportunity to all do better, together.

Onwards,
Tina

P.S. One fight I’m ready to take on? The battle to retake the Democratic Senate Majority — and our work to flip the Senate starts now. This seat will be on the ballot in 2026, along with Georgia, New Hampshire, and Michigan. Chip in now to show you stand with me and are in the fight to flip the Senate. [[link removed]]
