In an epic and unprecedented failure of American institutions, norms, and justice, Donald Trump has just been sworn in as president. Again. 

If being convicted of 34 felony counts by a jury of ordinary Americans wasn't disqualifying enough, this is a man who has pledged retribution for political adversaries, and who has openly courted the far right with an agenda of division, chaos, and distrust. 

It is clear that the way in which Americans interact with and process news and information is fundamentally broken.

But beyond that, it is also clear that we can no longer rely on common sense and legal guardrails to restrain Trump and the worst impulses of MAGA.

Community and solidarity with one another is more important than ever. We are taking this responsibility seriously—because headlines like these will be common across the country, not just in Colorado:

Trump and his team have already signaled that they will not focus on the things that people actually want: a more affordable economy, better opportunities for working people to own a home, be secure in their jobs, and more. Trump and the deplorable MAGA movement don't deserve our deference.

That's why we are in this fight to the bitter end, and why we need you with us standing tall as things get uglier. Can you stand with us against the rising tide of MAGA chaos and help us do the work to fight back?
