John, just moments ago, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America.

Our country is at a turning point. In some ways, so much has changed and the path ahead of us seems unclear.

But we have the same guiding star, John: Fighting to ensure the government works for communities like ours. I’ll do whatever it takes – including fighting back against Trump’s harmful agenda – to get things done for the people of Northeast Ohio.

Donald Trump and J.D. Vance’s extreme agenda must be stopped. We know that Republicans will come for the progress House Democrats have been delivering to Americans – they will threaten our Social Security, try to raise taxes on working families, and strip away our voting rights.

People here in Northeast Ohio deserve better – which is why I’m not giving up the fight for even a second, John.
