Today, as we commemorate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., we are reminded why we do what we do — because, John, the time is always right to do what is right.
Recently, we have been confronted with the harsh reality of attacks on our democracy from elected "leaders." But in these moments of despair, we must turn to Dr. King’s wisdom and remember that change does not roll in on the wheels of inevitability; it comes through continuous struggle. Even in the face of setbacks and hostility, we must keep moving forward, knowing that every small step builds toward a better tomorrow.
At The Collective PAC, we are committed to carrying forward Dr. King’s legacy through our work to empower Black voices at all levels of government across the country. Even in the face of bigotry, we will never waiver in our mission to create a government that is representative of all the people it serves.
Every day, we strive to create the country Dr. King dreamed of — and we couldn’t be more grateful to have you standing with us. In solidarity and with renewed resolve, let us walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future, in our unyielding pursuit of what is right.
Together, we shall overcome.
— The Collective PAC
The Collective PAC is strategically focused on creating a truly equitable democracy where our nation’s local, state and federal governments have diverse and talented elected leadership and Black people are fully represented in positions of
power to create the policies necessary to progress our communities forward. Since our inception in 2016, we have helped 500 candidates win general elections at the local, state and federal levels. We strive to support the next wave of
progressive and unapologetic Black candidates who will usher in a sea of change in our political system while helping America fulfill its promise of democracy by creating a government that will truly be for the people and of the people.
