When Tina moved to Minnesota in 1984 -- in a beat-up orange car -- for a job at General Mills, she was so impressed with this big, welcoming, diverse, and resilient place. She met people from all walks of life with different opinions about pretty much everything, but people knew how to listen to each other. Even if they disagreed, folks were willing to respect each others' opinions. That's still the Minnesota we know and love.

Listening to Minnesotans -- their stories, goals, and dreams for the future -- is at the core of our campaign. Tina knows that’s the best way to make sure she’s fighting for you in the Senate every day.

So here's a quick 2019 priorities survey: What's on your mind? What issues are keeping you up at night?

As your Lieutenant Governor and now as your Senator, Tina's traveled across Minnesota, listening to everyone from town mayors to business owners. She’s heard about the need for better health care, for equality, and for an economy that works for everyone.

So now in the Senate, she's working hard to reduce health care costs and to create more affordable childcare options for Minnesota families. She's standing up against Donald Trump's sexist and degrading views on women by defending against attacks on our reproductive health rights and demanding equal pay for women. And she's working with Senate Democrats on an economic plan that works for all Americans, because no one working a full-time job should need to be on food stamps.
