John,
Today, as we honor Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s life and legacy, we are reminded of his timeless words:
“If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk. If you can't walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
Dr. King believed in the collective strength of communities to create change, overcome injustice, and fight for equality. His leadership showed us that when we come together — when we speak up, act boldly, and stand united — we can create real change in our communities and in our country.
And that change starts with us.
More than 100,000 seats are up for election in 2025, significantly more than in 2024 [[link removed]]. And our state and local elections matter — from school boards and city council seats to governor races in states like New Jersey and Virginia, the people we elect make decisions on the critical issues we care about.
Democracy doesn’t take a year off — and neither can we. If you have an election this year, educate yourselves, empower your friends and families to make their voices heard, and take action right now by checking your voter registration status to ensure it’s up to date.

Remember, our work doesn’t end at the ballot box — it starts at the ballot box. We all have a role to play in giving back to our communities, and together, we can honor Dr. King’s dream by building the future we deserve — one voice, one action, and one community at a time.
In solidarity,
— When We All Vote 🗳️
