Folks, in the hours ahead of Donald Trump taking office, I want to assure you that I will never stand down from attacks on our values, our families, or our freedoms.

The extreme and divisive agenda pushed by the Trump Administration will present numerous challenges to our cause, but I am laser-focused on my commitment to the progress we’ve made.

From defending reproductive rights and protecting access to health care, to reducing costs for working families, to securing the most meaningful gun safety measures in three decades — a brighter, fairer future is still possible for New Mexico and our nation.

I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and continue the work to deliver that future. Over the next four years, I will work with leaders from both parties to get results without compromising our core values or leaving our communities behind.
