Donald Trump will be sworn in for his second term in just a few hours, but we’re still trailing about $6,400 behind the budget target we set to prepare for the onslaught of chaos, lies, and extremism headed our way.

Will you pitch in what you can before Trump takes his oath of office to help us make up the difference, stand up to the Trump administration, and defend Minnesotans’ rights this year?

We don’t need to look back very far to get an idea of what to expect from Trump and his cabinet full of ultrawealthy MAGA loyalists. 

During Trump’s first term, Republicans slashed reproductive rights, made cuts to Social Security and Medicare, oversaw the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, incited a violent insurrection, tried to strip health care away from millions of Americans, and more.

Now, armed with sick fantasies of prosecuting anyone who stands in their way, Republicans are back in control and ready to impose their extreme, dangerous agenda on us once again. 

That’s where we come in. Our Minnesota DFL Party is the first line of defense for our shared values when Trump and his MAGA Republican allies try to impose their toxic will on us in the coming months.

I know the task at hand seems daunting, and I understand why many people are feeling discouraged and depleted. But giving up is EXACTLY what Trump and his allies want us to do. We cannot let them win.
