John, today Trump will become President again, backed by Big Oil’s millions.

Let’s be clear: the fossil fuel corporations burning our planet just got themselves a friend in the White House who thinks climate change is a hoax.

I know today will be difficult for many of us. But I’m writing to remind you that you’re not alone. We are a global movement of planet defenders, united in our fight for a greener, safer world.

With Trump in office, Big Oil is planning to ramp up their drillingand condemn us to climate catastrophe. We can’t, and we won’t, let them win. John, will you stand with us and resist Trump’s fossil fuel agenda? Join Greenpeace today and be on the right side of history.

Trump's track record for the planet doesn’t look good. But his inauguration today isn't the end of the story – it’s the spark for our fiercest fight yet.

The fossil fuel industry thinks they’re on the home straight, having bought themselves a powerful ally by pouring millions into Trump’s campaign. But they’re about to learn that, at the end of the day, people power is stronger than oil and gas money.

We’re building the biggest ever resistance to Big Oil, and all the forces that threaten our future. Join us today and help:

- Shine a spotlight on climate destruction, and hold fossil fuel corporations and world leaders to account.
- Support our legal team who are working tirelessly to help us fight back against Big Oil’s attempts to silence us around the world.
- Show these climate destroyers that people want a greener, fairer world – and that people power works.

The next four years won't be easy. But I've seen what happens when people stand up. I've watched David beat Goliath time and time again – like Shell backing down from their lawsuit last year. And I know that Big Oil isn’t invincible, no matter who's in the White House.

But let’s be honest, the fossil fuel industry has deep pockets, and they're counting on Trump giving them a free pass to keep draining our planet and wrecking our futures. We can beat them, but we need as many of you as possible to sign up and support us today.

And the clock is ticking. Already this year, we’ve seen ordinary people suffer the very real effects of the climate crisis – with fatal floods and fires wreaking havoc across the globe. We can’t sit back while the chaos unfolds.

So John, let’s refuse to fail. Let’s refuse to let Trump and his Big Oil mates squash our movement. Let’s refuse to give in to despair. Sign up today and help fund the fight against corporate greed and climate destruction.

Your support will strengthen our long-term, global campaign for a greener, fairer world.

Whatever the next four years of Trump brings, let’s stand together and do what we can to build the future we all deserve.
