I hope you’ll join me in celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr. as we reflect on what his legacy means for our country today and every day.

Dr. King fought for equality, for voting rights, and for labor rights relentlessly. His vision for our country was never deterred by politics or partisanship.

As we reflect on the words and actions of Dr. King, we must also work towards his hope for a more equitable and just world. The work is far from over. Today, I am reaffirming my commitment to make MLK's dream — of freedom, economic opportunity, and justice for all Americans — a reality.
