Dear Friend,

As you may be aware, there will be a by-election in Eden-Monaro on 4 July.

It has been 100 years since a government has a won a seat held by an opposition in a by-election.

So we go into this as the underdog. However, we are being represented by a fantastic candidate.

Dr Fiona Kotvojs has a proven record of supporting her community.

Last summer, Fiona fought to protect her community as a Rural Fire Service volunteer.

She has also served in the Army Reserve and volunteered for Lifeline, Oxfam and her local Church.

Fiona Kotvojs was born in Bega and lives on her family farm. She’s run small businesses and understands what they need right now.

Fiona Kotvojs began her career as a high school teacher. She has a doctorate in education, a Master of Business Administration, Master of Evaluation and a science degree.

Fiona would bring this diverse experience into the government. As a member of the government, she would get things done for the community.

The government’s focus is keeping Australians safe, getting Australians back into jobs and rebuilding local communities.

Whether it is helping bushfire affected families and businesses, upgrading regional roads or building Snowy 2.0, this all depends on strong economic leadership.

It also requires capable local leadership. Fiona would be a fantastic addition to the government.

In the coming weeks, we will be asking you to support Fiona Kotvojs.

Together we will rebuild and get Australia back on track.

Yours sincerely,
Scott Morrison
Prime Minister
